On a side note, what is this, a 3.5mm stereo-to-Bluetooth adapter?

That's some bad translation. Especially when they're spotted 3 out of 6 letters.

And they used two out of three of those letters in their translation...

Exactly. Just one of many complete circuit boards you can pick up for next to nothing. In my day we had to design the circuit (or copy one of of a book) and then build a prototype on a breadboard.

Years ago  I used something similar to this to convert an old center channel speaker into a Bluetooth speaker.

Well, to be honest,  we in US say "ground" apparently the UK says/said "earth", with those choices "land" is hardly the worst translation I've ever heard.  I'd say the only bad part is mentally someone might see that and think "lan" which would not really work out for them..

It is close, but so many times I see things that could be solved by an actual human doing the translation instead of relying on a computer. A restaurant spotted during the 2008 Olympics comes to mind:

Yeah, that is fantastic. :-)

The problem is there are far too few people who understand say understand both languages and the cultural context of both.   Also,  if you do understand both in this case you can probably make more money/have more job security working for the CIA/MI6/PLA..
